Pediatric
For parents, keeping your children’s health is always a top priority. At Ortho Junction Hospital, it is also our top priority too. Our Pediatricians and Neonatologist work in partnership with parents to provide family-centered, pediatric care through all the milestones from birth to young adulthood. Ortho Junction takes the pride to be one of the best child care hospitals in North Delhi which is dedicated to being a one-stop destination for comprehensive child care since birth to 16 years of age. Since the inception of this pediatric department, our team of well-experienced pediatrician and neonatologists has supervised and attended thousands of babies in outpatient and admitted in various wards of our hospital. As a team, our endeavor is to provide complete, personalized and the best care to every baby visiting our hospital.
Pediatricians are trained to detect and treat congenital anomalies where possible. They also deal with infectious diseases whose frequency is higher in childhood. These include ear infections, mumps, measles, whooping cough or polio is included.
Many of these diseases can be prevented by immunization; it is the responsibility of the pediatrician. In addition, pediatric healthcare professionals should be aware of certain diseases that usually appear in childhood, such as allergies, immune deficiencies, and epilepsy.
Infants and toddlers grow and develop so quickly. That’s why frequent well-checks are so important during the first two years of life. Starting at age three, well-visits are typically recommended once a year. Your doctor will tailor each visit to your child’s age, development, and medical history and may recommend more frequent visits if needed.
